Because you probably have residual factors from where you first started and your flight over. Restarting the sim after every flight would be optimal but it wouldn’t serve for continuing flights. One way to check this is to see how your memory % changes from when you first load up, your flight, and when you land. Also depends on the airport you fly from and to depending on whether it’s an addon, more aircraft, surrounding scenery/terrain, etc. FPS at one airport doesn’t always equal the same at another. The more the sim is open, the “bigger” it gets in a sense. Not even closing the sim entirely but simply going back to the main menu and selecting your spot you left off at might help out as well.
