Why is it always foggy in these destinations?

So been doing some flights to some parts in rhe carribean. Went to Havana, Cuba(MUHA) and upon approach there seems to be a fog layer. Even though it is supposed to be clear skies, the fog layer is always there.

This happens to me also when going to Cancun, Mexico(MMUN).

I’ve noticed that the visibility on the metar shows as 9000. Could it be that the sim has some type of bug where visibility 9000 is doing something wonky and 10sm is the only thing that works correctly?

Anybody getting this issue?

This is a sea fret, or haar. It’s particularly annoying when one goes to San Francisco to see the sights only to see nothing at all because of it.

Nah but this is different. On a supposedly clear and blue sky metar in MUHA, it still shows that foggy clouds when you have live weather on.

Try and you will see.

Just have live weather on and spawn into MUHA airport. Fog is always there no matter what.

I think this is a bug. It happens in many other places in the Caribbean too.

Don’t know what you mean by foggy but 9km visibility in real life its not a great visibility and it would look hazy.

Mexico City is always covered in “fog”. I though it was smog🙄
