Why load a saved flight makes the airplane (172) unstable?

After I loaded a saved flight and it seems the trim keeps moving making the Cessna 172 uncontrollable?

  1. create a flight plan
  2. fly to your destination
  3. save the flight
  4. flight a bit more
  5. load the same saved flight
  6. check the airplane’s trim. If it’s good then fly further and save to another name.
  7. load the saved flight at step 6.
  8. check the trim.

I’ve never used a save and encounter this problem quite regularly just out of the blue. You’re flying around all nice and level and then the autopilot tries to kill you. It’s happened to me in the 172, TBM, CJ4, Longitude (almost always happens in that plane), VL-3, and likely others. The only planes I haven’t had this happen is the 2 Carenado planes.

Oh thank you for quick reply. So it may be the auto-pilot. OK I will search for how to turn it off. I haven’t flown with other airplanes yet.

It’s been less prevalent since the last patch, but it still happens from time to time. Did it for me earlier today with the VL-3. Was just cruising along enjoying the sights alone the Nile River when all of a sudden my autopilot went nuts and the plane went into a dive.

It’s indeed the trim that gets messed with. No doubt there.

Wow it works. Actually the autopilot isn’t activate. I activated it then unactivated it right the way. Now I can control the airplane.
An easy workaround!
Thank you for remind me about the autopilot.
