As the title says. Why is there SO many skydive missions now and almost none VIP charter and completely none sightseeing?

Its hard to keep track with so many bugs 
Its a new problem too, popped up today, apparently something with 2025 year change.
Oh God. Are the devs this junior?
It might be related to the cloud servers they are using, database or parameters. I heard other companies having issues with it too. It could be something that they have little control over, or it could be that they just didn’t think it. All in all I don’t think its purely the dev’s fault, I’m sure they were aware of most bugs that are reported, they just didn’t have the time. The stakeholders probably demanded a pre-christmas release. Sadly its quite usual nowadays. But msfs has a long lifetime, so I hope they will fix all this eventually and we will have a great game to enjoy. I agree though, some of the problems are just so blatant.
Some of the mission types seem to have hand picked locations. Others will use any random airfield that fits the mission parameter constraints. Skydiving and Cargo seem to be the latter, so there’s way more of them. This is kind of a bummer because if you’re relying on hand picked locations, you’re going to run out of stuff to do.
I dont think this is true. Previously I had very few skydive and alot of sightseeing. And some VIP.
Now my map is full of skydiving missions.
Im working as a dev myself. We never make any releases atleast 2 weeks before holidays…
Sightseeing is random too. I noticed that others, like Search and Rescue, have very few locations, and VIP too probably even though I don’t play it. But I was assuming this is because Asobo had to manually pick the locations for those.
I understand. Before i went off for 2 days I had for example 3 rescue/find missions in south america. Now everything there is skydive. 80-90% of all my missions are skydive everywhere.
And what do you see as a freelancer?
Only two cargo flights, one light, one medium. :\ That’s pretty sparse for Anchorage. There are even a lot less Cargo flights on my end. I’ve got circles where there are no flights at all, and the other day there were a half dozen Cargo options there.

But if you look above @KiaraLeona posted a bug thread. So it seems to be a bug. Hopefully they fix this soon.
