Hi @PHSepp796 and any other WideView users.
I’m hoping for some advice - I’ve now got my SERVER and CLIENT setup with a copy of MSFS on each. Server is a 7950X3D with a 4090 and the client is a 7900X3D with a 4070 TI. Both with 64GB of 6000Mhz CL30 RAM. Suffice to say, performance with MSFS isn’t an issue.
What is an issue is that I cannot for the life of me get Wideview client OR server to get anything above about 15-30 Cycles per second. I’ve followed the guide in the manual that says I should be getting 250 or more but I’m no where near that. I’ve tried setting affinity for Wideview - no difference. Tried setting the priority manually in Windows - no difference.
This is what I’m seeing and getting…
Anybody had this issue before? The software itself seems pretty good and the results seem reasonable albeit there is stutters because I think of the poor cycles per second.
I’d like to buy Wideview but I’m not going to throw $100 at the software if its not going to work satisfactorily. I’ve emailed the author but so far no reply.
If it was only one PC I might be able to narrow it down, but its the same that its on BOTH PC’s
Any advice??
