Wideview Experiences?

Thanks Sebastian - I appreciate your help.

The problem with turning ON home cockpit is that for reasons I don’t understand, when in home cockpit mode you can no longer use your mouse to look around (you can use your POV hat on the joystick, but not the mouse). I’ve searched the controls but cannot find away around this. I guess that for people with a full home cockpit this isn’t a problem as they don’t need to look around the cockpit, but since I still want to be able to look around the virtual cockpit, its a deal breaker.

Now onto the views - I’ve been using the experimental views from within MSFS for a long time and find them quite intuitive (yes, I’ve seen that video). What I cannot get setup using wideview what we would call “ROLL ROTATION OFFSET”. On the client I can change the InitialPbh to adjust the heading no problem. Adjusting the pitch is also fine, however changing the bank doesn’t actually help line up the screens so that things like taxiway lines, ground markings and the horizon are straight.

In this example below (the client is on the left), I’ve adjusted the PBH to the same HEADING I use with experimental (-89.59). That’s fine. I can also use Pitch to get the taxiway scenery to line up at the point the two monitors join, as per the below photo (note that this does NOT use the same values as expirimental mode):

However I cannot get the client view (on the left) to ROLL like the experimental view system does to have the two screens on the same angle. - BANK does not help. See below photo when I add -10.00 of bank

or when I add +10.00 of bank…

Now, I realise that on my server view (see below) I’m tilting the camera down. This is so I can see the instruments.

Perhaps if the scenery was perfectly level and there was no pitch down I could line up the sides (this is I’m guessing what most cockpit builders do as they don’t need to actually look at the virtual cockpit), but its not realistic for somebody that still uses the virtual cockpit.

I’m beginning to think Wideview just isn’t capable of doing what I’d like it to do. What I am sure of is that the internal experimental view systems built into MSFS is far far more intuitive and easy to use than Wideview.

What is also disappointing is that over a week after sending the developer emails seeking assistance I’m yet to receive a reply. I paid over $200 for Wideview and Widetraffic and he offers no support whatsoever.
