Wild ride visiting 17 air bases in the Swiss Alps with the Mustang

In this video I show my flight from Emmen to Ambri, visiting totally 17 active or ex Swiss air bases in realtime.

So less than every 2 minutes I flew over an airfield, all within the fantastic Swiss mountain range! You can feel the turbluences flying over the ridges and along the steep flanks of mountains.

The aircraft is the FSX Mustang, which was imported and repainted to wear the clean Swiss Air Force colors. Along the route, we pass totally 4 airfields, which I had to build by myself with the SDK, as they were missing in the stock sim.

Finally the approach pattern for Ambri is entered and the Mustang dives into the narrow valley of the Leventina before landing at the meanwhile closed air base.

If you are interested, the same flight I posted years ago with the Aerofly FS simulator using the F/A-18C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSVth… The F/A-18 took 12 minutes, while the Mustang in this video takes 30 minutes. That’s the difference between piston and jet I guess!
