I suggest @Grabber523 was speaking in general. There are far too many times that we encounter complaints of poor sim performance due to simply not having the setup appropriate to ones computer. I specifically asked about your CPU load because that is usually the first mistake folks make. “My CPU is idling at 30% so it can’t be me.” (general statement often heard) A quick glance at individual cores often points the user in the right direction for tuning. When they see a single core graph stuck on the ceiling, they begin to understand.
I doubt Grabber was directing their comments at you or anyone in particular. My observation is very similar to theirs. Push even the fastest system to the pins and the complaints about sim code optimization begin to fly. People need to accept that the sim runs beautifully when dialed in at the computer’s sweet spot.
