Say I have a 3ds max model of an aircraft that has not gone through the wind tunnel process or otherwise the data is not available etc…

Will MSFS have SDK support for Simulia PowerFlow Computational Fluid Dynamics using Lattice Boltzmann Method?

If I make the analysis and computations in a CFD software such as PowerFlow will MSFS SDK support being able to utilize this data in creating aerodynamically realistic third party aircraft?

The SDK documentation is like 80% incomplete and does not talk about it and I don’t know if it will be mentioned or incorporated in the future?

I doubt it would be implemented, not sure how you expect it to be in the SDK if I don’t see it being mentioned anywhere? CFD is very computational heavy and can’t run on real-time, on the best you could use it to create airfoil polar data but I’m not sure if MSFS does support this either.

They said real time ray tracing was impossible too but look at it now
