Since the dedicated FS2024 forums seem to have vanished, I’m posting topic this here…
So, any opinions or facts? What improvements could the new SDK offer to airport creators?
Also, are the hand-crafted airports included in the new sim simply the old ones from 2020, plus those from the various World Updates? Or can we expect new and/or more detailed renditions?
Yes. Nothing has changed in how scenery is created.
If you’ve watched any of the videos, all of the default airports bespoke airports have been improved according to Jorg. There are some pictures out there comparing the 2020 bespoke airports with their 2024 counterparts.

Oh! Is it missing from your menu on the left? It likely just fell off and you need to turn it back on again.
I agree, since that panel is quite small at the start, there’s whole sections of this forum I had no idea existed. It probably would have been better to have them all on by default, and have people turn them off, rather than have people have to turn them on.
