Win10 Update - conflict or not?

Have become VERY hesitant to accept Windows Updates - as in past - updates seem to really mess with my settings, resolutions, etc.

Anyone want to post - was the update safe for MSFS, or not … ?

My Win10 system is completely patched / up to date and no issues as of yet.

Thanks - hope all experience same…

No issues here either.

No problems with it.

No issues at all with any updates. Never ever had any.

Windows10 Professional
Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1526)

I update Windows multiple times a day. I’ve yet to have any issues as a result.

No problems at all. Always fully up to date here. I’ve actually never experienced any issues with WU though tbh. Also on SU8b (Steam) no issues.

Having to deal with corporate security I’d rather risk breaking things through an update than virtually any other issue that can come from patching and staying up to date.

Windows 11 does have an impact on Virtual Reality and MSFS. But by now, it’s on the VR runtime publishers to get the proper support.

Upgraded to Win11, no issues, and have seen better performance

FWIW I was having relentless CTD with Windows 10 but since I updated to Windows 11 they’ve all but vanished. FS is now much more stable.

I also kept/keep both completely up-to-date, although I’ve manually disabled auto-updates which protects you from the worst Microsoft blunders. You tend to hear about major issues within 24hrs of a Windows update if there are going to be any.
