Same issue. Often have 10-20 kt crosswinds on the ground making landing impossible and takeoffs extremely risky.
Only way I work around it is by turning on live weather in free flight, and checking the wind overlay on the the career mode map to make sure there’s the least amount of ground wind at my arrival airport to avoid a strong wind landing.
