Creating flight: Nav dialog says I am at 1150, I set my cruising altitude to 2500’, and the From field has 1500’. I guess that I am not pilot enough to appreciate all the subtle differences in all these heights. And, of course, we still have the useless exercise…after several years of comments, and dozens of pretty pictures…of trying to set winds when we define a flight. Why have an actual screen with all those settings, when none of them work after years. Just stop kidding yourselves, and remove them until you feel like making them work.
How can there be so many giant steps backward? ATC is no longer where I saved it. It goes to the upper left of my 2nd screen. Nav log goes to lower right, and is too big, so it runs off the bottom of the screen. They are no longer saved where I left them.
I’ve tried for several hours to find the combo that allows me to save winds. No joy. So the latest updates take this farther from a flight sim, and closer to a game.
I am at a loss to understand the mind set that leaves so much detritus in the sim, and adds all the fluff. And actually regresses?!? Please stop developing all the game features, and refocus on making it a useful sim.
