Alta Wind Energy Center in Kern County California looks even worse from the pics… I’ve flown over these massive windfarms before and that got me googling, they are indeed there… it’s just that they feel kinda stacked together in Flightsim… although, it’s a mysterious Red Glowing area at night. (because of all the collision lights on top of the wind turbines.)
but, i can understand, if you’ve never seen it before, that it is quite disturbing
