I was having no issues with the previous version of Windows 11 home. There were a couple of FS related videos that I saw that spoke to the benefits they experienced as a result of updating. Mainly loading speed decrease.
Three things I did in prep for 2024.
- I updated my bios for the intel chip issues. That went great and took my temps down noticibly with no decrease in frames. Made sure that ran stable for a couple of days.
- Next, I updated to 24H2, which I had to manually go get. No issues and the load times were noticbly shorter. No adverse effects regarding stutters etc.
- Last night, I installed the Nvidia App which is now officially released. I loaded the latest driver from the app (566.14). I selected the Auto Tuning, which took about 15 minutes for it to calculate.
My sim has never run better. Maxed setting and butter smooth at solid 60fps.
