Windows 11 and VR loose of performance

Hallo all together,

I made my Windows upgrade from Win 10 to Win 11 yesterday and tried the MSFS in VR with exactely the same settings.

Unfortunately, the fps dropped and while moving my headset fast, a black frame appears for a while which means, the screen cannot follow the speed of my head moving.

I had not these issues before. Also the task manager shows more or less same usage of gpu and cpu.

Has anyone an idea what I can do in Windows 11? I would like to keep my MSFS settings like under Windows 10. I purposely bought my gpu just for MSFS.

Thank you in advance.

You should try turning HAGS off. Somehow, HAGS in Windows 11 is not working as well as in Windows 10, or at least in my case. I was using it when i was running win10 but with 11 i needed it to be closed to get smooth vr experience. So it is worth a try.

Hi,

thanks a lot. It’s the solution. =)

I hope, the upcoming update with direct x12 will solve all issues.

And every setting on ultra (currently on high) can be used with smooth fps.

Well then. Very fast solution. Check mate after one move.

CU =)
