Have you tried restarting the pc?
Have you checked all your drivers and other programs are all up to date?

Control Panel add /remove programs windows updates that is where they can be uninstalled if it comes to that. Restarting the PC usually corrects things but there is not enough info here as stated.

It’s also a good idea to make a image disk of the sim PC since anything can go wrong anytime. I do one weekly

do a system restore

Had the same problem, win updated to 2004 and the sim started crashing in the menus. Never even got to flying.

Updating the xbox apps in the windows store and restarting the sim a few times fixed the problem for me. 100% stable since then.

have you checked that the pc plug is plugged into the socket?

Now some people might see matti’s reply as tongue in cheek but the question is valid, my friend called me at 0030am to tell me he was having the same problem. He hadn’t plugged in the power cable into the laptop, once that was done problem solved! No crashing…well the laptop wasn’t crashing…his cessna was another story entirely :joy:

unless they fixed it 2004 causes many PC’s to loose performance, I keep delaying it be reschedule updates every week ahead.

Well, I was having CTD during loading even with the 1909 version, Nvidia 452.22. I updated to 2004 and still experience some random crashes, mostly during landing now instead of loading times. So I reckon it’s not just linked to the latest windows version
