Wing Rock in Cruise Flight

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: During cruise flight in smooth air, the aircraft’s wings rock from side to side in a slow manner even with the autopilot activated. It feels more like being on a ship in the ocean than on a plane in the sky.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes and yes.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every flight.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Take off
  2. Set autopilot in smooth air conditions (non-turbulent air)
  3. Winds aloft at 24 knot headwind and 44 knot headwind, although I’m not sure this matters.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• PC, Steam, specs almost identical to “Ideal” (13900k instead of 14900k is the only difference)

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Same, multiple aircraft do this.

My experience was in career mode. I did a flight with the vision jet and did not have the issue so perhaps it only occurs with certain aircraft or in certain conditions.

OOH. I think it is the Yaw Damper. I guess the Caravan (and some others) do not turn it on by default. Hit the YD button on the auto-pilot panel after takeoff and see if that helps.
