i really love this product
The fbw a32nx only mirrors what you do in the planes mcdu. Fenix works great, and the inibuilds a320 is online to work in February this month. Others in the works.
It is required to have Simbridge installed and Simbridge must also be activated in the EFB.
Have you installed and activated Simbridge?
i think so i have it installed so the works very as the do in the simulator.
Well Winwing havenāt add compatibility for 777 so itās no possible to use PFP3N on 777s. It should be added in the future.
Does anyone know when or if Winwing are going to make the MCDU compatible with the inibuilds A330?
I believe the FCU and EFIS are already working through simappro although Iāve not tried them yet. It therefore seems reasonable that MCDU functionality should follow. But when I canāt find any reference to it anywhere.
But all this talk about compatibility is for those using WinWing software exclusively, right? I imagine that if apps such as Spad.Next or Axis and Ohs and the like are supporting the CDU, then we could map the latterās buttons to whatever aircraft function or event or variable we want.
So I could program my CDU (which hasnāt arrived yet sadly) to work with anything, even Aerosoft CRJās FMC and so on.
edit: just realized that spad isnāt ready yet, this is the latest update from today:
WinWing CDU Implementation
Basic Device Support : Done
Device Screen Offset configuration Done
Custom Color Support: Done
Custom Font Support: in Progress
Image streaming: (prepared). not supported by device firmware currently
MCDU Support: Done
PFP/Boeing CDU: in progress (80%)
Thatās great news because I pre-ordered PFP 3N some time ago.
After some really weird loops (CHENGDU (CN)-SHANGAI(CN)-NARITA(JP)-GUANGZOU(CN)-ISTAMBUL(TK)-PARIS(FR)-MADRID(ES)) and 33 days long shipping process, I finally got my MCDU during this week and I have been able to test it during this weekend, with the following results:
MSFS24, iniBuilds A330, no support, I could still use the keys via a Mobiflight profile
MSFS24, iniBuilds A320neo v2, same as the previous one
MSFS20, FBW A320neo, I had MCDU screen displayed on the WinWing unit, but keys were irresponsive (I will have to prepare another Mobiflight profile)
As other users said, the WinWing app is absolutely terrible designed. Not very intuitive, mixing setup options from different HW and simulators regardless any of them are available, which makes you wonder if you configured it properly or not.
I hope the compatibility range increases in the next months or, at least, allow us to popup the screens which along with Mobiflight will make it full compatible with any Aircraft
I see SPAD added support for PFP3N a couple of versions ago? Lovely. This means no WW app will be required for me. Now I only have to wait for WW to ship the bloody CDU. Itās been 20 days now and no updates at all.
When I ordered (PFP 7), the estimated ship time from the US Store was 45 days. Itās been about 35 days since then, so Iām not going to get bent out of shape. Furthermore, for US customers, the new tariff situation is going to be a PITA to deal with.
Yes, it was 45+ days for me as well from the global store shipping to Europe. Still hoping theyāll do their magic and ship earlier but nevermind, still worth the wait.
Interestingly, even though my order was deemed cancelled because of an incorrect address during the website debacle at launch, mine has apparently shipped with a tracking number and everything. Go figure.
I have simbridge, but did not realize you have to have it activated in the tablet also. I fly 2020. Is that also applicable there also?
Iāve seen that aliexpress are selling them with UK delivery. I read somewhere they donāt work with the PMDG 737 60/700 only work with the 900 can anybody confirm please?
Iāve been looking through this post and I havenāt seen the answer to my personal question so Iām going to ask it here, knowing full well that I totally could have just skipped over it even though Iāve read over this a few times now. Iāve looked on the winwing website itself and Iām aware that they are working on MCDU support for A320 aircraft but Iām unaware of whether or not they will ever have support for aircraft such as the A321 A330 a310 etc. Does anyone know whether or not the mcdu will ever be supported for those aircraft? Has it been announced? Also I saw in a previous post that that the inibuilds a320 was supposed to be supported (Specifically sometime in February) but from what I know itās not supported. is it?
MobiFlight is or will support much more aircraft with WW MCDUs.
There are already several addons it works with and you can find the list here:
If you would like more aircraft to be supported, you can help us with integration. End-user help is appreciated but also required as we do not own all the addons, also our bandwidth is limited due to the small team size.
Thankfully approximately 10 users are helping us already.
There are already ready-to-use profiles available in SPAD.neXt.
Does it support displays or inputs only?
Both - display and input.
