Wow this is cheaper than miniFCU who will begin shipping shortly.

Will be interesting.

I wonder if it will have FULL Fenix integration. I read that MiniFCU will work with Fenix, but does not show the digital readout. The rotary knobs work and will change speed, alt, heading etc, the buttons work to turn on AP, but the digital display at the top of the unit remails Blank? Apparently a licence issue tween Fenix, Prosim and 3rd parties like MiniFCU.
Works 100% with FBW & Headwind (Which is FBW in all). Put me off the MiniFCU and i have ordered one, so mine will be going for sale as soon as it arrives.

I would wait a bit. While they may not have an official solution there may quickly come unofficial plugins to make it work seamless.

Yes, i think that may well happen. If the FBW had the features that Fenix has, then i would stop using Fenix.
I have seen on YT, a few companies making these A320 FCU’s that they have got round the Fenix limitations.
I’ll give it a month or two for the ‘Clever’ people out there to come up with a ‘Fix’.

There may be a solution with the miniFCU and Fenix A320. A comment between a backer and one of the company staff on one of the more recent Kickstarter updates suggested something will be announced soon.

The problem is Fenix, not the MiniFCU.

I won’t be going anywhere near Fenix <===== !

Probably a low cost ripoff?

There is a Mobiflight module for the MiniFCU in the pipeline, so it’s very easy to clone the hardware.

Seems like a great alternative to miniFCU. It’s a shame that after people supported that kickstarter, the miniFCU is now so overpriced for what you get that it is unjustifiable to purchase it over better quality products, for a cost higher but still a better deal.

Have you got your Winwings FCU yet? I cannot get mine to work with the FBW Dev or Headwind Alpha builds. Works flawlessly with the Fenix, inibuilds a320 and Asobo a320 but I just cannot get it working with the FBW or any of the FBW Dev mods.

mine doesn’t work with the asobo a320 , the readout is garbage. How did you set this up. I’m running SimApp Pro first and it works with the FCU but when I fly the A320 the inputs work but the digital readouts are trashed.

Have you updated the firmware and SimAppPro software? It’s plug and play if you have.

If you’re struggling to get it working with SimAppPro, try installing the BETA of Mobiflight Connect and download the relevant profile from Flightsim.to for the Winwing FCU and try, if the screens are still not working, your device is broken or you’re running a mod that’s conflicting.

thanks for the reply, how do I update the firmware, I’m sure I have the latest SimApp Pro version.

OK step by step as best I can…

  1. ) Open SimAppPro and make sure you’re logged into the SAP system (should show you in the top right by the cog icon).

2.) Click the device tab within SAP.

3.) Click on the FCU image.

4.) Click Firmware Update above the graph on the left hand side.

5.) Follow in the instructions.

WinWing has been around for years and have an excellent reputation for both quality and value.
