WinWing FMC compatability

Can anyone tell me or point me somewhere to see what aircraft the WinWing FMCs are compatible with? What I’m really curious about is if any of them work with the CJ4 FMC and thus be compatible with the JF BAe146/Avro RJs. I’m mostly wondering about the screen compatibility as I understand it’s not a monitor as such but it’s own data driven display. I know that I can get the buttons to work regardless.

I’m thinking about picking one up (likely the MCDU version) but, I’d like to know about any other planes they will work with to get the most milage out of my purchase.

I wouldn’t have thought any of the FMCs are immediately compatible. But to check, go the the product page for one of them and then scroll down to the part that says ‘Record breaking, dual model display drive’ you will then find a ‘click to view details’ link which when you click on it, it brings up a pop-up with info.

The other way is to look at the changelog for the SimApp Pro software as this also notes when support has been added for specific panel/aircraft.

The screenshot is for the PFP7 as way of an example.

Thanks for the info! I never would have thought about checking the SimAppPro release notes- that’s clever!

If you don’t want to be limited to that list, you can check Spad Next, basically all addons that expose their CDU display are compatible with any own display driven CDUs (WW, CS,…)

Yep, Spad is also an option, There is a subscription charge to Spad Next (although if you don’t renew after the year, you can still use the software, you just don’t get updates, which is fair). I suspect Mobiflight would offer the same and it is open source/free.

I do have Spad Next. I didn’t realize it could drive the display too though! Maybe I’ll poke around in their forums too. I appreciate the insights!
