Just to clarify - PFP3N panel is designed for the Boeing 737 and 738M series, not for the 777.
For the Boeing 777 series the correct panel is the PFP7.
That said, it’s probably possible to get your PFP3N working with the PMDG 777 by using external tools like the free MobiFlight, Axis and Ohs (AAO) or Spad.Next.
Also, keep in mind that for the PMDG 777 to work properly with external hardware or software, you need to edit the 777_Options.ini
file. Could you confirm whether you’ve already done that and added the necessary lines?

@Wilkosan89
I checked out of curiosity how the PFP3N works with the PMDG 777 and MSFS 2024 SU3 beta. I can tell you that the PFP3N does work with the 777 - I have it running together with Spad.Next.
So as I expected, getting the PFP3N to work with the PMDG 777 requires third-party software like Spad.Next, AAO or freeware Mobiflight.
Can someone help me…
I used the MCP and FMS (737) on the Xbox game pass Microsoft flight simulator 2020. Now I switched to the steam version and my MCP and fms are not working. I use pmdg 737 and the altitude knob is turning but my winwing MCP looks dead and have no lights for example. I cannot figure it out…
When switching from the Game Pass version to the Steam version of MSFS 20/24, the folder structure changes - and that’s likely why your MCP and FMS aren’t working now.
Don’t forget: you need to edit the 737_Options.ini
file and in the Steam version, that file is located in a different directory than in the Game Pass version. Make sure you’ve updated the correct file in the Steam location.
Thanks for the reply, what do I need to do with that file?
I cannot find the file right now..
You’re trying to run MSFS 2020, so I’m not sure why you uploaded a screenshot showing settings related to MSFS 2024.
Also, if you’re going to share a screenshot or photo, please make sure it shows the entire window - not just part of it. That will make it much easier to help you.
I’m sorry, I only see here MSFS2024:see_no_evil_monkey:
is that a problem?
Just to clarify - which version of MSFS do you have installed on Steam: MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024?
I found this, that’s a problem right? I use Microsoft flight sim 2020, but I have both on steam 2020 and 2024
The Install Path cannot be empty.
I have changed that to the example
What do I need to change here?
Scroll the file down to the bottom so I can see the last five lines.
I restarted my pc, it is already working!!! Thanks a lot:grin:
