I am having the same issue with my PMDG 777-200. All my other PMDG are working fine (738, 739, 77L, 77W) but the 777-200 won’t work with my PFP. I have the PFP3 and the PFP7 and they both do this. I have this same red line.
Any ideas on how to fix it. I’ve posted this on FB but apparently I’m the only one experiencing it.
Just circling back here after a miserable 2 month long customer support experience with WINCTRL:
They issued a replacement that finally arrived and I’ve had the same issue on my first flight. This is not hardware related.
I have a few ideas that might help. Shoot me a DM and we can go through them there-I’d rather not turn this thread into 20 pages of back-and-forth.
imagine a world where the winctrl MCDU would work with the ini A330. I know some ingenious person on flightsim.to tried a rather complicated but intricate approach but it seems too buggy and not really foolproof. but I suppose the architecture of the streaming by the A330 doesn´t allow for it. we´ll see…
oh no. I am sorry to hear that. all my encounters with the winctrl support were actually quite quick and helpful. I hope you can pinpoint your problem, stop worrying and start flying again. all the best.

In SimApp Pro, click on the device whose firmware you want to update. Then click on firmware tab and select advanced mode. From there, you will be able to choose the correct firmware file to install.
Im having a problem thats similatr to some that i have seen in this thread, but i genuinely cant figure out how to fix it. i have the MCDU, throttle, and FCU from WINCTRL and all 3 of them are giving me the same error of not finding a binding file in the game config folder. If anyone can help me with this problem, that would be great.
Just finished my first flight with no input disconnects by using Mobiflight instead of SimAppPro. If your PFP3N buttons stop working but the screen still displays works, it’s likely a software issue, try using Mobiflight with one of the profiles from flightsim.to, fixed it for me.
EDIT: Disconnects have returned even with Mobiflight. I’m done with this thing. Glad Moza has released an alternative. Starting the refund process with WINCTRL and won’t ever buy another thing from them again.
Glad to hear that your PFP3N is working well with MobiFlight.
Personally, I only use SimApp Pro for updating the firmware of my Winwing devices. For everyday use, I use SPADneXt (paid software) instead. Of course, MobiFlight is also a great option if someone prefers a free solution.
EDIT
I would also suggest reporting this issue to Winwing and letting them know what helped in your case. This kind of feedback can help them improve SimApp Pro and fix the issue for other users.
Came here looking for some expert advice, still learning a lot myself. As far as I figured out you should not need key binding configuration for the MCDU and FCU, those just work (with supported planes, I use the Fenix). For the throttle and for me the stick it seems those are needed and I found a YT video explaining it. You have to make sure you do the calibration in SimApp pro first, no sim running. Then in sim go to controls and make a new configuration profile for the throttle, save and exit. Back in SimApp pro you can now run a key binding file and select that profile name you created. This is where I am at right now in my learning and trying to get these devices to work!
Hey everyone,
I am considering buying some of WinCTRL’s Airbus gear. What would/would you recommend?
