Yes, thanks for that… I meant the bugs in MSFS… not in after market stuff…
Appreciate the reminder… I suppose I could look at a few, however, I want to be able to remove everything that is not core to the MSFS so that I know things are moving and getting fixed without me having to rely on some 3rd party… Of course, that may be flawed logic, MS/Asobo and associates may never get the core free of bugs… One of the reasons I do not hold my breath…smile
Any time you want to start with an empty Community folder, all you have to do is either drag the folder to another location or just rename it. Either way, the sim will generated another empty version when it starts again.
If you really want a clean start, start the sim, then “crash” it by shutting it down via the Task Manager. Next launch, you’ll be given the option to start in Safe Mode, which should also disable Official folder addons.
I use addon linker to sort and manage what appears in the community folder. I can enable or disable an aircraft with one click.
HOWEVER I pretty much have left almost everything enabled. I am always surprised how many of the older planes i have not flown for a while are absolute gems. The p149 is a classic example, one of the first reasonably in depth detailed aircraft released for the game and still great to fly.
It really does not bother me to have a full hangar as I have always been in the habit of typing in the search box rather than scrolling through aircraft because the sorting order is not intuitive. If I wish to fly the Wilga for example typing “Wil” and hitting search finds it immediately.
