I did several 1 hour flights with CJ4 hotfix version 0.10.1 in the last 2 days. It is a pleasure to fly! What I found is when I open Active VNAV page on FMC it is always defaultet to VNAV Descent. Going next page or back it is always blank like empty. Going then back to Descent page this is blank too. Clicking any other page on FMC and returning to VNAV makes Descent showing again. Anyways, thank you for this great mod!
Yeah, I extracted the zip straight into the community folder where its contained within “workingtitle-aircraft-cj4”
Make sure you reload the sim after updating the Community folder, as I’m fairly sure that its contents are read at startup and any changes thereafter are likely to cause issues.
FInally got around to loading this mod…Wow! Lots of new things to now learn, lots of subtle additions and a quite a few major ones, its much more obvious what the plane is doing and the Autopilot is much more detailed now. Really impressed.
I did notice one bug as I was using a flightplan from the default MSFS page before entering the flight…once this is uploaded it makes the FLPN page on the FMS go blank. The details are all visible in the LEGS page though and seemd to run fine.
If you wouldn’t mind, could you toss in an issue on our GitHub with the details of the plan you made in the main menu?
We’ve seen a couple reports of this but having the actual plan would help us a bunch!

I have this issue as well. Thx.
The VNAV Setup page black screen will be fixed in the next patch, which should be coming soon.

Just posted on Github, will try the same plan and flight tomorrow to see if I can repeat the issue.

Sorry to ask this because I know I saw how to do it somewhere but can’t find it.
When you have the MFD in flight plan mode, there is a way to scroll through the waypoints with the FMC one by one. As you do this I believe it centers the waypoint you select on the MFD.
Where is this in the FMC and how do you get the airplane symbol centered back on the MFD flight plan display when you are done?
“Step through: when in PLAN view on the map, hit the MFD ADV button on the FMS to cycle through waypoints” Sean
Extracted from WT CJ4 Discord Channel.
How do you get the airplane symbol centered back on the MFD flight plan display when you are done?
That’s actually not possible, either in the sim or on the real unit. It actually shouldn’t center on the plane in the first place, which is a bug right now.
On the PL21 avionics, the only plane following map mode is PPOS.

Sorry. How do I get the MFD “map” back to the state it was in before I cycled through the waypoints?
That’s what I was saying earlier, yeah. In PLAN mode (the MFD map), there is no way, either in the sim, or in the real unit, to recenter the map on the plane. That mode is not meant to follow the plane; the fact that it does at all right now is a bug.
If you want to use a map mode that does follow the plane, you will have to use the PPOS display mode instead.

Thanks for your patience, Matt. I get it now. Wonderful job on the CJ4! I love flying it.
I would like to know what I need to trigger with an external program such as Axis and Ohs to control the wing/eng anti ice. For example ANTI_ICE_TOGGLE switches the ENG ONLY anti ice. I would like to know the event or variable for the wing/eng anti ice so I can bind it with Axis and Ohs to my honeycomb bravo.
Is anyone else having problems with glidepath on RNAV GPS approaches with this version? I tried 3 flights yesterday and on all the autopilot initially followed the glidepath well but began to deviate more and more high. By about 6 or 700’ AGL I had to disconnect the autopilot and make a significant correction to get down to the runway in time.
I was flying a stabilized approach at Vapp speed or slightly below. I don’t remember that ever happening before 10.2 update.
Same here. I was very happy that the version previous to this fixed a problem with following the glideslope but with three approaches on this latest release the problem as you describe is back. Capture the localizer but then little or no capture of the glideslope.
For folks experiencing glideslope and/or glidepath issues, please post issues describing the problem on our GitHub, along with as much detail as you can remember, such as what the specific approach was, the full flight plan if you can recall it, etc.
Unfortunately, while we do look at the various forums every day, there isn’t usually enough detail for us to go on to reproduce the issue. It may be consistent for some users, but it might not be happening for us.
