All ended up being well on that flight. Let’s see if I can continue to have some more without CTDs. What changed?

This is probably for the real pilots out there. So, you have a flight plan… You have your VNAV activated and you are gonna be at TOD in about 5-6 mins. But ATC gives you direction to start your descent now… what do you do? Wait to get to TOD? If not, what do you modify in your flight plan/FMC/VNAV setup?
