Did you read the FAQ? For now, the mods remain Open Source and available through Github, which means you have control.
As for the future, keep an eye out on the boards, as even WT as a newly formed entity still doesn’t have the road ahead mapped as of yet. I suspect the changes will be gradual, not “Earth Shattering Ka-Boom (Marvin the Martian)” impact. The relationship is new, and so are any interactions. But I’ve been wrong before and will be again.
