Bishop398:
We’ve only been at this in earnest for a little over a month, and there has been plenty of infrastructure and mechanical stuff to set up, getting integrated with the teams, getting the ability to build the simulator, etc etc. So I would just caution for folks to be measured in their expectations of what WT can deliver in such a short time. There is also plenty of lead time for testing as well before an update.
Do note that our stuff is not at all “drop-in”; because we have been mods and not working on top of the source code but instead the compiled javascript, that makes actually integrating in a good, solid, real way is a much different project.
I’m curious… in the interest of not creating pockets of proprietary code (as you said, if i’m not mistaken), will this level of access and the tools you are using ever be made available to other developers?
