That’s not what happened.
WT didn’t get absorbed or bought out. They formed a company (vs being independent community modders) and are now contracted to work on certain portions of the sim - namely avionics and flight planning for now. They’re no more “absorbed” by Microsobo than Orbx, Aerosoft, or any of the other first party partners. They’re an independent entity.
