World Update 22 Satellite Blending and Photogrammetry

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: WU22 “breaks” satellite image and photogrammetry blending when photogrammetry is enabled. This particular area is associated with the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Coordinate or location of issue:
NW: 39.026656756, -108.054631934
NE: 39.033511990, -106.930618986
SE: 37.981025046, -106.946809724
SW: 37.978443532, -108.047166472

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

It occurs every time if WU22 is enabled with photogrammetry on. Disabling WU22’s “3D Photogrammetry Cities,” turning photogrammetry off, or disabling WU22 entirely, fixes the issue. Unfortunately, disabling “3D Photogrammetry Cities” also disables much of the scenery in the package.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Install WU22 with photogrammetry on

  2. Turn photogrammetry off

  3. Turn photogrammetry on and disable 3D Photogrammetry Cities

Please add a screenshot or video of the issue occurring.

Because I developed a scenery package with upgraded airports and fall colors that is affected in this area, I’ve gone ahead and created a narrow TIN exclude to smooth out those spikes along the photogrammetry border. However, you guys control the satellite/photogrammetry image… So “tag”, you’re it!
