I thought it was a joke until i googled it!!
Flight sims, I find, are not as pixel count dependent as other games and simulators when it comes to performance. I think maybe because they are far more CPU-bound than other games and sims tend to be. Therefore, I usually play around with the graphics settings as much as I do the resolution in things like FSX, MSFS and X-Plane to get the best framerate.
That said, MSFS2020 does get a lot more performance back from adjusting resolution than other sims I mention above.
Also, have you noticed that the sim looks better if you keep the resolution the same as the desktop, and instead adjust the slider thing below it? I adjust that slider thing down to 50% of 3840p, which it tells me is 1080p, but I swear if someone showed it to me out of context and asked me what resolution it’s at, I would say something way higher than 1080p, that’s for sure.

If you work for a company you are bound by rules on social media, there is a reason you hardly see involvement on social media from employees. But go ahead, expect them to get involved (wont happen though).

Ben Supnik was the example someone brought up. He speaks to people on X-Plane’s website. That’s perfectly fine, and what this site should ultimately be for.
