It depends where you bought it from. If Steam then no, download your Steam update then open the sim and it’ll do the rest.
If you bought it from the Microsoft store then yes, you must update here first before you open the sim.
Based on the feed, I assume no one has the update yet…
and it’s never directed me to the Microsoft store to update the game. Always in app

I don’t have a Steam install, so no idea.
Not sure that Microsoft are going to be impressed with the computer operator. Looking at the PC I would say he/she is doing some work on the side for the opposition. Potentially a short lived career once this gets out I think

Yes we know they have worked on the pixelated look of the clouds. We’ll just have to wait for the patch notes for the full picture.
They never said the update would be today for sure right? They just said to expect it roughly between the dates?

I do! although i bought it from the UK2000 website directly, not realising it was on the in-sim store.
Great isnt it?! Really looking forward to getting my nearly 70 year old father to experience VR flying over bristol, he’s going to love it.

My last update, no. I just fired up the sim and said download available. MSFS doesn’t even show up in recent apps for me anymore

It says at the top of the page “Due to extreme load, some forum services are restricted” so I’m guessing that’s something to do with the kicking. Keeps happening to me too.
