Iām usually not one to let this kind of stuff bother me, but why wait so late to let us know that it has been delayed further? Is this a sign of larger problems with the update or included fixes? A 5 day delay is fairly significant, especially for a release-day announcement.
(ā¦and why do I keep getting logged out of the forums?!)

If its not ready itās not ready. Its precisely because of comments like these that updates are usually vague. A game has been delayed a few days - not your heart transplant.

The forums are under significant load at the moment. Unfortunately, some user sessions are getting dropped causing you to have to login again.

They really should just stop announcing release dates in advance for all updates until they are sure they are ready to release. This āannounce-delay-announce-delay-announce-delayā cycle is only serving to frustrate absolutely everyone.

It was removed by a moderator as it was spreading unconfirmed rumours.
A banner had been put up warning people that any dates posted by users were unconfirmed and shouldnāt be trusted until an official announcement was made by Microsoft, be that patch notes or what we, unfortunately, got, an update about a delay.

A bit gutted as im on holiday from work this week, no chance I can fly on Tuesday.
However, Asobo cant really win in these situations.
Release as planned = backlash for bugs. Delay = backlash for delay.
The one thing they can absolutely do better with is COMMUNICATION.

Looks like money I spent on London landmarks and UK sceneries won`t go to waist just yet. Feel sorry for the guys who took the rest of the month off to enjoy WU3 though.
Well, Iāve learned a valuable lesson. I booked this week off before Christmas (you have to book in advance where I work) so I could play with the UK Update.
It turns out 3 weeks wasnāt enough redundancy for delays. Iāll be assuming Asoboās release dates can have a month added from now on.
Enjoy Update 3 when Iām back at work next week everyone. Thanks Asobo, maybe a little more upfront about these things rather than let the date slip at the last moment next time? This isnāt Crossrail.
I could have cancelled until last Friday but Asobo were confident at that point.
Delays happen, communication often doesnāt.
