World update maps / missing areas?

First - is there a map that actually shows the boundaries of what’s covered by the World Updates?

Also… I can neither confirm that I have the Italy World Update (IX) nor find it via search in Content Manager. How can I find out if it’s current? Or, if there are other updates for the region? I assume it’s installed automatically, but, as noted, I can’t find it in a search.

I haven’t seen any map such as you have mentioned.

If you don’t have WUIX installed, it would show up as uninstalled in the upper left corner of the Content Manager screen.

There is no such map at this time. You may want to add your voice to this Wishlist topic:

Add a DEM, photogrammetry update map in world update release notes

Can you please add a map with the world updates so we can see where the satellite Images and DEM are updated? You did this for the USA WU.

As for the world update, world updates are not installed automatically. If it’s not showing up in a search in Content Manager, you must “buy” it (it’s free) from the Marketplace. Go to the Marketplace and go to World:

And then under the World Update section, you should be able to find Italy:

(Except that yours will probably say “FREE” in the lower-right corner instead of “OWNED”.)

How can I find out if it’s current?

After you’ve installed it from the Marketplace, you should receive notifications from time to time if there are any updates.
