It’s a shame, I thought WU6 is an improvement on the landscape you are flying over. Well, according to my opinion, it is unfortunately not. In large parts of the satellite images of the colors and the exposure are so bad that the illusion of flying in real life is totally destroyed. The resolution of the satellite images is sometimes really better, but what use is that if the flying is spoiled by totally overexposed images with terrible colors. This does not only apply to the DACH area. Luxembourg, France and more are just as concerned. If you zoom into the world map in MSFS until the display switches to satellite photos, you can see very well how badly large areas look. And no, that’s not how it looked around me in the three hot summers of the past few years. It is simply bad satellite images that were used here, very, very unfortunate. Has no developer noticed this poor landscape? I can not imagine that. For me I would like to have the old satellite images again, with less resolution, but with a much more realistic rendering of the world I am flying over. There are green meadows and forests here but not these desert-like colors.
yeah, people noticed. And there already is a thread or two or three about this.
