Maybe its a world update in form of new tech like, better veichle traffic on the roads, more life to the planet, higher res orthos and more advanced autogen. Who knows. It must be something else other than an updated region, if not, why keep it so secret?

It does say WU XI AND Local Legend in green above to indicate the release.
Iām not personally suprised either way not heard more yet as its clear that Microsoft want this to bring in the most buyers can rather than have pre-hype and all the fun that comes with knowing where it is a few days before. Itās basic business so its just a case of waiting until the 5 minutes of Flight sim at somepoint in the showcase to know.
Yes, a ānormalā world Update would be a bit strange. Why keep it sooooo secret

Maybe if you donāt want to watch the whole stream wait until itās over to see what was announced for MSFS

Not at the moment, no.
However new a.i. techniques like FSR 2.0 (on xbox, being AMD) perhaps provide the possibility of this in future - im hopeful the game will evolve along with these emerging technologies.
Anyway, i was way off on my guess on the suprise!
That said, ive been really enjoying the Pelican, as has my now grown son, whose early memories of gaming include flying a pelican mod on my FS2004!
