Well if they delay, a lot of people will be quite disappointed. Announcing a delay last week or during the Jun 9 dev update would have been much more acceptable. Having all this anticipation going to a delay would be a huge disappointment and let down.
That would be ridiculous. However, I would not at all mind low earth orbit - that slightly expands the capabilities of the current sim.
I would rather a really good WU and save the space for the 40th anniversary along with other changes.

Iâm hoping itâs New Zealand. They just did Italy (my âhome away from homeâ), so it would be cool if they could do my home (NZ) as well.
But why the secrecy? As far as I know, thereâs no big NZ tie-in at the moment. Right? There have already been trailers for Rings of Power and Avatar, so weâre a bit late for those⊠hmm⊠Maybe a Time Bandits 2 teaser?
Or maybe it was supposed to be Russia, but, like SCS did with ETS2, Asobo decided to put that on hold and, in changing gears, didnât have time to assemble a trailer for the new area?
Do you know how and when WU 10 content and Local Legend 5 will be announced please?

It is only a month since the last World Update. Perhaps running Blackshark.ai through the new updated terrain, creating handcrafted POIâs, generating bush trips takes more than one month. I fully expect at this point the WU is delayed.
This is yet another example of âwe promise to improve our communicationsâ in action.

According to ObsidianAnt on his Youtube channel there is an extended Microsoft Bethesda showcase announcement on Tuesday so I assume we will get the reveal then.

Itâs been five days since the last dev update when they clearly said a World update would be release next week. They had no problem sharing that sim update X was delayed, so I fully expect them to release something. However, I do wonder whether it might be a general update rather than a specific region, perhaps new Bing aerials, revised airport data, maybe even a couple of photogrammetary cities etc

According to Obsidian it launches Wednesday.
I noticed that all of the previously WUâs are labeled âupdatedâ in the Marketplace, could this have something to do with whatâs being released tomorrow? Havenât noticed any changes in either of these regions.
According to the road map it launches tomorrow.

Iâm just throwing my bet as South America as one request coincidentally (?) has been fulfilled 30 mins ago. Was it there previously? I donât fly that area

They also clearly stated in the same developer update that the WU would be revealed on Sundays showcase. You canât use what they say as proof that something will or will not happen

Why? It says trailer and releast tomorrow in the roadmap, idk where you see a delay? You are just too early here 
Tuesdays deep dive of the XBox Bethesda showcase is set for 1pm EST. The release of WUâs normally happens at 11am EST. It doesnât make sense that 2 hours after they release the World Update that they would ârevealâ it on the showcase.

It doesnât make sense that they would delay it without notice either, or not reveal what it is ahead of time.
Whatever happens with this update, itâs a new precedent whatever happens.
If it still says launching tomorrow I assume they will launch tomorrow and it will become available immediately following the announcement on the showcase.
