I propose they keep the pace that they feel is best for their simulator depending on the resources (human and monetary) they have

The simulator has opened to a much wider market and the genre isn’t confined anymore to a small and shrinking niche that can somehow survive with limited updates

It’s kind of funny that people forget that FSX is still going strong after 15 years with only a PC community.
