I am with you on this a 100% I am okay with 0 new world updates as long as it means most bugs are fixed and the sim update gets priority. Having said that, if I am Microsoft, I want to be able to sell this to Xbox players and maybe this is presumptuous of me, but, if you are looking to use this on an Xbox then the priority is the beautiful scenery and they want to be able to show all their fancy scenery to attract the buyers. Once the money is in their pockets, they could either A) abandon us or B) focus on the sim aspect since the simmers will be the long-term clientele, until then, they might have different priorities.
This is evident by the focused regions, Japan (Sony, PS) territory, US (Amerka the big spender), GB (Ireland was ignored was it? hmmm), EU. Follow the money, smart business practice, they might be aviators who love sims and aviation, but, they are in it to make money, as they should.
I just wish they could throw the simmers a bone without any pointy edges or just tell us the truth, which would be refreshing in this day n age.
