A request for 2024, how about every public and private use heliport added in 2024 xplane 12 has them so I’m sure it can’t be that hard

Xplane has already done this just open up the sim copy the locations from xplane into msfs
I am totally confused hearing someone suggest this with “Tech Alpha Insider” next to their name. I don’t know what a Tech Alpha Insider is, but I think it means you should know better than to suggest copying intellectual property.
And by the way, X-Plane does not have every heliport. I know because when I started learning to fly the vSkyLabs Cabri G2 in X-Plane 11, I had to add some to the scenery gateway, which were then taken into X-Plane 12 having passed the rigorous review by a Laminar employee. Folks are still finding missing helipads and ports in X-Plane 12, so it isn’t as easy as you suggest, nor has it been easy for Laminar.
There is a forum thread here to list the missing heliports reported to the team, and we see release notes discussion of the coming SceneryHub.
At this point, we the wishers need to create the missing heilpads. I have done two so far in south Florida and submitted them to flightsim.to so that others can use them. It took me 8 hours to learn to create the first one, and about 4 hours to do the second one. They are quite basic but they allow me to challenge myself with local heliports.

Obviously you can’t get all of them, but, they can pretty easily get a lot of them. Just like they get airports today. There are databases with information in them.
But, more important than getting “all” the heliports, is upgrading the heliport object.
- Allow cold and dark start on them
- Add AI Helicopter traffic
- Restrict Helipad parking spots to Helicopter AI traffic, no aircraft
I’ve seen some other people request things like Precision Approach Path Approach Heliport lighting systems, and other things that FS currently supports for defining runways.
IOW, finish the integration of Helicopters into the flight environment as they are in real life.

all FAA listed heliports in the 12 state Midwestern US area are actually available complete and ready to spawn on or add to flight plans… I fly helicopters exclusively, and I have shared my scenery on a web site
Let’s hope so, I do have the heliport mod that was released on pc that adds world wide heliports to the sim
