Just completed the OBBI-OMDB round trip. Here is the report.
Not much, or should I say no, traffic leaving Bahrain.
Complete opposite coming in to Dubai. Likely one of the busiest airports I have flown into.
Tried hard but could not find a flight on the same route. I hoped for a day flight return so I could see better. And I got my wish! Traffic everywhere.
I had almost giving hope of spotting a flight on this route and right before taxing onto the runway I spotted one (GFA509).
Nice shots of the city while leaving.
I also got a treat in seeing the Palm Jumeirah island and the World islands (this one never finished development).
For a second there I thought Bahrain had their version of the World or Palm islands.
Back in Bahrain. Not a shred of traffic in sight.
One more route conquered.
