Cleaned out everything and removed all third party planes. Removed all configs, state files, and assets relating to anything third party. Continued testing and still seeing perf decrease across the board and performance degradation. Did 3000 miles in the DC6 before putting her in the Hangar. While some shorter trips in GA seem the same the longer flights are degrading performance again like in Su6.
I am close to pulling this driver out and doing some more testing but not quite there yet. Going to fly some more stock stuff today and see how the sim handles it. I have three hours of flying this morning setup with a return trip.
My last flight to end the night was a quick 30 min jaunt in the FA18 which crashed to desktop after taking off.
Made sure all system files are in tact and XBOX STORE and Windows are not damaged in any way. Cleared out all shaders and everything. Fresh rolling cache after a setup and fresh reboot of the PC and Sim.
Not one crash in Su6 leading up to su7 and already crashing and seeing perf problems. That said if I am alone on this then this driver is past it’s prime. VRAM usage was around 4.6GB out of 11GB. No other apps running except my Navigraph charts and nothing updating in realtime.
Driver 466.27 but keep in mind i’m not on an RTX card here and as far as I can tell feature set and graphics didn’t change just some lighting and weather variables. Maybe the TAA and HUD stuff requires a driver update on my end and is effecting everything else though. Night lighting flickering is so bad at some airports though I had to change the time of day. This might be another indication my driver needs an update.
