Hi
I have never noticed icing effect on aircraft I fly, can anyone point me to a location which is known to produce icing effect?
Do I need to be flying for a long while to notice it or is it possible to see it occur parked up at an airport.
Thanks

Icing starts as soon as you’re on the ground cold and dark at CYTS
Spawned cold and dark at the ramp at Boston Logan (KBOS) about 45 minutes ago, covered in ice before startup.
Anywhere in souther Germany atm. Just fly into the clouds.
Thanks everyone, will take a look later.
I’m with you. I don’t seem to get any icing effects at all. I just tried the above locations and nothing. I have it turned on in the settings but still nothing.
This worked, after a minute or two icing effect occurred.
Cheers
@Paraman14 try CYTS, just let the aircraft sit for a minute or two without doing anything.
I seem to have figured out the problem. I uninstalled Bijan’s mod and I now get the icing effects.
Ok so I got icing effects with diamond dv20, but with a320 only the wings, engines and nose, the window remained clear and this was at cold and dark.
The icing effect is a big joke anyway, be happy you don’t see it. Its way too aggressive, its visually wrong and builds up at wrong places on the airframe. No icing effect at all would be more realistic than the current icing effect.
Where is that?
You can change icing effects on aircraft in the development menu. To enable developer mode, go to settings.
