Would you buy this in MSFS?

Part of me really wants to try flying this thing… Part of me thinks we really don’t need this. (because no one would actually want to fly it).

I have seen a model of it in the Boeing Flight Museum, and this just suddenly showed up in a post on Facebook today. Figured I’d share. Apparently it’s a Heinkel 111z.

I’d Love a HE 111H

Oh yea! That’d be one of my top 5 wishes I think.

No I wouldn‘t.

I appreciate the visual detail that goes into some addons but I‘m not a fan of totally made up flight characteristics. And I would not pay money for something just to have it collect dust in my hangar. My money goes to developers where I know that they either have first hand experience with the model or who I can trust that they have people who know the model and that they listen to these guys. That‘s not possible here, so… nope, I wouldn‘t.

I’m sure you will find someone who would buy it, but I am not an aircraft collector and I buy with practical use in mind. All aircraft I bought for MSFS are small GA suitable for commercial operations using career/economy addons.

Fair enough, I’m not picky myself. Since I’ve never flown the real aircraft I’d never know the difference. As long as it feels believable to me, I’d be a happy pilot.

Nope - Bit like the Spruce Goose. Might fly it once, then let it rust away in the corner of my (very large) hanger.

Well at least there are two of us that love historically important aircraft.

100% no , it may be historic, but its niche, ugly and I don’t see me ever flying it , just like the current crop of default aircraft already in sim such as H4, spirit of st louis etc.

I have to admit most of you are probably right. It wouldn’t be popular. I’d buy it though… esp if it was done well. I’m a fan of WWII aircraft and we have too few. At least too few good ones.

I wasn’t even aware we had it and just looked for it

Haha :")

How do you find aircraft to fly without seeing it? Do you have one you use all the time so never browse?

I have few aircraft that I actually fly and I just search for them in the search bar with their names.

No interest whatsoever.

I don’t even want it for free, let alone pay for it

No thank you.

Flying Iron do a few really good ones , plus a few in development

Not enough levers on my Bravo throttle quadrant.

Kind of like the 6-engine Latécoère 631 I own. Cool plane, but I’m not a mouse flyer, and I want to control each engine separately.

I don’t own any 4-engine piston planes for the same reason - not enough levers.
4-engine jets are OK.

Be a no for me, have no interest in any of the vintage aircraft. Same reason none of the local legends etc… appeal to me.

Just personal preference
