No they have updated the sim in the Northern Hemisphere every few months and the Southern Hemisphere has been entirely ignored to date with no information as to when something may or may not happen from Asobo. I asked the question to see how others felt and not to be lectured for asking a question. This question I asked is well within the gambit of what the forum is for, is it not and it looks like a lot of other people feel the same way.
