I woundering how i can land on this Runway with 600x6 Meters. I can stop with the half loaded A320 about the half runway length which you can see in the pictures below. And also i tried this landing in XP 11 but also i can stop here with the Zibo 737-800 about the 3/4 len ght of the runway. IN XP 11 how you can see also in the pictures i had a nearly empty weight of the Zibo. The runway is the 25th and that runway have an up slope.
When you will it try by your self in the MSFS 2020 or the XP 11 feel free: Icao EDFY → Landing Runway 25
So i would like to here some real world Pilot Feedbacks if it possible to land there or not. But i cant belive that would be possible to land there an A320 or a 737-800
Most likely it can land there irl, but it won’t take off.
So technically yes but theoretically no. Look up Alrosa Flight 514, there you have it in real life
I’d say you can land there, but you definitely Italy shouldn’t.
First of all, you will not be able to leave again.
Then again I would suggest to turn off engines before landing - making it a very risky thing.
As the engines are off the runway they could suck in stones and lot more from the grass and cause severe damage to the engine.
But from a plain calculatory point of view, an empty 737 can stop within 600m from touchdown.
It looks like the main landing gear are partially off the runway even when the plane is dead centered. I imagine that would screw up a landing pretty badly, especially if you were off center at all.
Legally: no, both too short for the required safety margins and too narrow (each airliner has a minimum runway width.
However, in an emergency, if deemed to be the safest option: go for it.
