OK, I had an earlier post with the subject line “Frustrated” because of the key maps but after watching some youtube videos on how to operate some of the controls and finally understanding how the autopilot differs from FSX I was able to do a fairly decent flight from Orlando and to Miami and then flew around the Rocky mountains west of Denver. All I have to say is WOW. The thing is amazing. Things like pilots actually moving their heads to my windows icing up while I scramble to find the pilot heat and de-icer is just amazing. Nice job. I’m mostly on medium settings with ultra high on the clouds and it really runs smooth on my $450 gaming laptop I got on sale a couple of weeks ago. I only wish my 21 inch all in one had the horsepower that my 15 in laptop does cuz it really needs a bigger screen. Ok, on to learning some of the nav systems and see if I can land the thing. It’s a work in progress for me but its so nice having a new sim to get exited about after 15 years.
Happy for you sir. Have lots of enjoyment, like most of us. Expect some more frustration along the way but don’t let it get you down. Plenty of help to found here on the forum.
