WU Nordics Installation remains pending

Hello,
WU nordics has the label “installed” and has also the label (right field) “installation is available” !!!. I selected it to begin this installation and I got the message “pending”. In the corresponding field there is mention of a decompression for some files but there is no indication that something was going on. I’m obliged to cancel the process and to go back to the main menu.

Going back again to desktop does not work and I have to quit msfs using the task manager. I guess it is because msfs was continuing the installation.

I had problem with this Nordic update too. Check in your /Official folder (or the OneStore for MSFS store version) if there is a .part file (will be below all the folders of the installed stuff). If so delete it with the game closed, then run again and try again. It will work eventually!

Yesterday evening I had exactly the same problem. Very slow download run into windows 11 crash. This morning WU nordics run smooth and finished well. New Sim works fine!

Hello,
Thank you for the idea. In Official folder there was a fspatch file (microsoft-nordic-point-of-interest-1.8.7.fspatch of 231 MB) and a folder (.fscontent of 10 bytes). I deleted both and launched again msfs. I was then proposed to update WU nordics (and not to install). Everything was OK after this update.

I don’t think you should have deleted ^^^ that one… but if it works, good! :slight_smile:
