That sounds really good. Is it confirmed the tool is going to do all that? From what I can remember from the dev chat video, it seems to be about placing stock objects in various locations to ‘fix up’ generated airports. The key feature was that it was crowd-sourcing with a moderation pipeline, similar to the X-Plane Scenery Gateway, where all those human edits would roll up into the next World Update once validated.

If it did all that stuff it would be great though!

EDIT: Looks like the last video transcript is here - Live SDK Q&A - November 23rd, 2022 - it looks pretty comprehensive in the video.

All we know on the surface is that it’s supposed to allow the community to make changes and edits to airports and then have them streamlined into MSFS after being approved. As to those in depth functions they never really went into depth about those. Still no word at all from anyone about it yet from an administrator level which is equally disconcerting.

I mentioned in another place that if it is indeed just a tool to add/remove objects or edit buildings within MSFS and doesn’t include the ability to further customize airports on a user level than it’s a waste of a tool from an AI perspective. For scenery developers or the general community who just want up-to-date airports it’s nice. But for those seeking more realistic/immersive results, it’s a necessity.

I’d guess a scenery project without any custom textures or models?

It could extend past airports to fixes for water, terrane, trees, the morphed treebuildings.
