X56 Software

Anyone know where the drivers are for this. I just noticed in device settings it is saying my drivers are not installed, even though the controller/s work fine.

I found it at https://logidrivers.com/logitech-x56-hotas/
But I only used it to set the color of the LEDs. Everything else is absolute cryptic and not necessary. Seems to be software from the last century.
The hardware is excelent and if it works fine for you (as for me) don’t waste time with the software .

AND there´s a manual here: https://www.logitech.com/assets/65324/x56-hotas.pdf
Hope you have a lot of fun :scream:

One of the highlights in the “manual”: I quote: “8. The software is capable of many other powerful programming features that we have not yet covered. For example, you can program axes, mouse movement and mouse buttons, hats, and special timed or complicated commands”
Shame on Logitech.
I’ve been a software developer for more than 30 years, but I would never have dared to deliver such bad software.

Saitek are firmly to blame for the software being so bad in the first place. However, Logitech left that flaming dung heap as-is. Ditto for the software for all the products they got from buying out Saitek. It’s a shame they couldn’t at least make an effort to make the software not look like it was made for Windows 95 and make it actually useful.

Oh ok, if it is not necessary, no need in complicating things more. I will take a look at the manual out of curiosity. Thanks, guys.

I’m still looking for the axe. lol
